According to Reuters, Alibaba Cloud now supports Meta’s open-source AI model Llama, enabling its Chinese corporate users to develop applications based on this model. Earlier this month, Meta released the commercial version of Llama, Llama2, which provides a free alternative to expensive proprietary models sold by OpenAI and Google. At the time, Meta indicated that Microsoft was the preferred partner for Llama2, but it could also be obtained through other partners.
