Chinese auto company BYD announced the launch of the “BYD World” virtual showroom in cooperation with AI and metaverse company MeetKai to provide online immersive brand and product interaction experience for Latin American customers. The BYD World showroom debuted in Ecuador on July11 and will be launched in Chile the following day, followed by several Latin American markets.
BYD said that after entering the virtual dealership, visitors are allowed to freely explore the digital exhibition hall, which includes a 360-degree realistic display of BYD’s new energy vehicle series. Users are also allowed to configure, customize and interact with BYD products in the metaverse. By integrating MeetKai’s XR technology, BYD customers can participate in virtual test drives.
