BitKeep’s Latest Update of Hack Incident: Case Filed and Task Force Set Up

On January 4, Web3 multi-chain wallet BitKeep announced that a case had been filed for the hack in late December. Local police and network security experts had set up a task force for the case.

As previously reported, BitKeep APK 7.2.9 installation package had been hijacked and replaced by hackers. Users who installed the trojanized BitKeep package were hacked, resulting in the leakage of private keys. BitKeep has joined forces with several security firms to track down the location and has frozen part of the assets.
