Digital Asset Fraud Detection Platform FrankieOne Closes ~$30M in Funding, Led by AirTree Ventures and Greycroft

According to Techcrunch, FrankieOne, a Melbourne-based startup that provides an API platform for identity verification and fraud detection, has added $23M AUD (about $15.4M USD) in a Series A+, taking its Series A’s total to $45M AUD (about $30M USD). The funding is led by AirTree Ventures and Greycroft, with such existing investors as Reinventure, Tidal Ventures and Apex Capital. New strategic investors incorporate Binance Labs and Kraken Ventures. The funding is designated for expansion of business scale and customer base.

FrankieOne connects banks, fintech, cryptocurrency and gaming companies with hundreds of data sources and cooperates with 170 financial institutions worldwide, boasting an API to access identity and fraud prevention providers. FrankieOne claims a four-fold increase in revenue over the past 12 months.
