According to Nikkei News, Yat Siu, co-founder and CEO of Animoca Brands, discloses in an interview that the company plans to launch a fund, named Animoca Capital, of up to $2B, with its first investment expected next year in metaverse business. The fund is targeting $1B to $2B while Yat Siu reveals it has yet to raise capital. Yat Siu and his fund manager partner will oversee the account.
