OKX Back Online, Covering Customer Losses Caused by Outage

According to Foresight News, OKX annouces the cloud service provider failure repaired, transactions resumed at 2:50 on December 19, and recharge and withdrawals resumed at 12:00. There was a 20-minutes pre-open period before regular trading resumes when customers could cancel orders, place post-only orders, and add margin funds, while the order matching system was kept closed. 

In addition, the OKX release includes customer losses and compensation, as well as a multicloud deployment strategy. OKX remarks that its customer support team will take the initiative to communicate the payment details and bear all customer losses caused by platform reasons; its engineering team are implementing a multicloud deployment strategy to ensure core services deployed on multiple clouds to ensure service stability.
