Over 470 Alameda Investments Exceed $5.3B

According to Larry Cermak, vice president of research at The Block, who derives all private equity investments of Alameda Research from Financial Times, over 470 Alameda investments exceed $5.3B. Top five companies of the largest investments are Genesis Digital Assets, Anthropic, Digital Assets DA AG, K5, and EX.

The FT claims the document to be taken from an Excel spreadsheet in early November, when SBF was seeking bailout funds amid a run on FTX customer deposits. The portfolio incorporates stakes in FTX backers Sequoia Capital and Anthony Scaramucci’s SkyBridge Capital, as well as Elon Musk’s SpaceX and Boring Company projects, acquired through an investment in K5. Crypto and DeFi projects make up the bulk of the remaining investments; while numerous start-up video game studios and gaming platforms, online banks, publishers, a fertility clinic, a military drone maker and a vertical farming company are also involved.
